Why Support us?

Acts of Kindness

This is the core of our organization. Whether we are placing "kindness rocks" around the community or completing random acts of kindness, we do everything in honor of Sara. She was passionate about kindness and helping others, and her passion lives on through this organization.

Research Funding

The most important goal of this organization is to fund childhood cancer research. We are working on the Sara Willis Research Grant to help fund potentially life saving childhood cancer research.

With Love

Cancer patients and families endure so much on a day to day basis. You can help us sponsor kids and families so that we can provide gifts, meals, and essential items to help make their journey a little bit easier. Together we can make a difference to those that need our love the most.

Awareness

Spreading awareness is done through events. Childhood cancer research only receives 4% of the federal budget. Raising awareness helps encourage more donors to make a difference.

History of our organization

Sara was the kind of kid that you fell in love with immediately. Sara had a long repertoire of jokes and loved to make people laugh and buy them gifts and look out for others. She kept in close contact with the people she loved. She was loving and kind and thoughtful – and she loved to do kind things for others.

Sara was diagnosed at 14 years old with brain cancer, and relapsed when she was 18.

Even during painful procedures Sara was a joy to be around.

She told phlebotomists that they were doing a great job when they had to poke her. She went through incredibly difficult and painful procedures before losing her battle to cancer at the age of 18. She died 11/22/2018.

Sara’s Acts of Kindness was formed in 2019 in memory of Sara Grace Willis – her love and kindness will live on forever through our organization.
